Thinking - Lifelong Learning

We are learning all the time. Every day there is new technology that we have to spend a lot of time reading the instructions. For many years I had a microwave that defrosted and cooked just the way I liked. It stopped working and I bought a new one. Now when ever I try to defrost it will not do it - one day I will have to read the instruction book. I also have trouble with my new DVD player. But a visiting two year old recently managed to turn off the video I was playing and inserted a DVD she wanted to watch - no trouble.

My pensioner neighbors are both using the Internet and they love receiving photographs of their grandchildren.

I use computers everyday at work and I love helping library patrons develop their skills in using the available technology. I also have a computer at home and enjoy the challenges of keeping up with the latest advances in technology.
